The Frederick Honors Student Council is an organization designed to promote the concerns, interests, and needs of the Frederick Honors College student body. The student council aims to give students a voice in Honors College decision-making, host events to connect students to one another, and communicate Honors-related opportunities to students. Maddie DeMarino is a fourth-year honors student from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She is currently studying chemistry with minors in business and Italian as well as a sports studies certificate. Post graduation, Maddie is going to dental school with her final goal to become an orthodontist. She is extremely excited to serve as the executive vice president for the 2024-2025 school year.

Brandon Hale is a third-year undergraduate student at the University of Pittsburgh, majoring in neuroscience and Spanish, on a pre-medical track. He is also minoring in chemistry and plans to obtain a conceptual foundations of medicine certificate. In the future, Brandon hopes to become a pediatric neurosurgeon specializing in epileptic care. He is from Tabernacle, New Jersey, and is looking forward to serving as the FHC Student Council Vice President of Programming for the 2024-2025 academic year!

Kayla Moitui is a fourth-year honors student who hails from Easton, Pennsylvania. Majoring in emergency medicine with a minor in chemistry and a certificate in conceptual foundations of medicine, Kayla intends to become a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist while continuing to work in the emergency medicine realm as a paramedic. Kayla serves as the Vice President of Communications for the 2024-25 academic year and is eager to work with the Student Council to bring fresh ideas that elevate the Frederick Honors College experience.

Stephanie Yau is a junior studying neuroscience and psychology, with a minor in phemistry, and certificates in global health and conceptual foundations of medicine. She plans on attending medical school after graduation with ambitions to work in neurology or psychiatry. She is from South Brunswick, New Jersey, and is excited to serve as the Vice President of Finance for the 2024-2025 school year!

Sneha Chaudhuri is a sophomore at the University of Pittsburgh and is majoring in computational biology with a minor in chemistry and a certificate in conceptual foundations of medicine. She hopes to attend dental school after graduation. She is from Fort Washington, Pennsylvania, and is excited to serve as the FHC Student Council Director of Administration for the 2024-2025 academic year!
