Frederick Honors College allows you to enhance your Pitt undergraduate degree in any major by choosing one of our distinctive programs: the Honors Distinction, the Honors Degree, and the Bachelor of Philosophy (BPhil). With experienced faculty from across the University and a diverse, interdisciplinary curriculum, you can determine which programs and opportunities best align with your goals and interests. Honors Academic Advising
No two experiences at the Frederick Honors College looks the same, so we have three flexible options that allow you to choose which programs and opportunities are a fit for you:
An ideal program if you’re a transfer or upper-division student who joined the FHC later in your academic journey.
Earn an Honors-designated degree and gain access to specialized FHC advising, housing, and course registration.
Complete an intensive research thesis and earn the highest level of undergraduate scholarship, only offered at a few universities in the world.
