Programs and Experiences

The Global Learning team at Frederick Honors creates programs with one purpose: to help you achieve your academic, professional, and personal goals. We recognize that our students' interests are as diverse as the countries that they travel to, so we strive to create opportunities that encourage you to explore your own interests in a support and challenging environment.

Frederick Honors students also have the opportunity to participate in one of more than 300 programs offered through the Pitt Global Experiences Office

Programs Built For You

6000 Acres of Exploration and Discovery

The Allen L. Cook Spring Creek Preserve, situated in the ranch lands of Wyoming, is a jewel of the Frederick Honors College.  Frederick Honors students have found dinosaur fossils, ghost towns, and an ecological and geological environment that is so incredibly distinct from our home in Pittsburgh.  Each year, a select group of students travels to the site to make new discoveries.
