Chinese University of Hong Kong Summer Research Program

Apply to be one of a select group of 150 students from across the globe who complete an 8-week research project with faculty members at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Research placements are available across most disciplines and interests, including arts and humanities, physical and life sciences, law, social science, and more.

London
London Pre-Health Internships

King’s College Hospital is one of the premier hospitals in London and offers you the ability to work full-time alongside practitioners, administrators, and quality improvement teams. This program is intended for upper-division students interested in gaining first-hand experience in the administrative functions of healthcare. Placements include opportunities in quality control and evaluation, hospital operations, and patient care improvement across dozens of clinical departments.

London Pre-Law and Justice Internships

Deepen your knowledge of legal practice, justice, and court systems through an immersive 8-week full-time internship in London.  Placements are customized to your interests – past students have worked on refugee advocacy, supported paralegals, and performed tech policy analysis! 

Pre-Health Clinical Observations in Vietnam

Spend 8 weeks in Ho Chi Minh City conducting first-hand, clinical observations in a private hospital. You have the opportunity to choose up to 4 specialties as you shadow medical professionals working with patients on a daily basis. This program is observational only – no direct care or patient contact is allowed and it follows AAMC’s guidelines for study abroad students. 

Immersive Clinical Observations in St. Lucia

This 4-week program, offered both in May and June, provides you with an immersive experience shadowing and learning from a single specialty in one of St. Lucia’s newest hospitals. You will observe doctors and other medical professionals in healthcare delivery and patient care. This program is observational only – no direct care or patient contact is allowed and it follows AAMC’s guidelines for study abroad students.

Priority for the May session is given to upper-division students. Priority for the June session is given to first-year students.
