Candace completed her first two years of undergraduate studies at Northampton Community College (NCC), where she served as a computer lab monitor in their communication, arts, and design department and had the amazing opportunity to study abroad in Cairo, Egypt. After that, Candace transferred to Pitt; she completed a double major in Africana studies and English literature with a minor in studio arts. While at Pitt, she served as a COVID-19 building safety concierge for two years. Most recently, Candace has worked in the David C. Frederick Honors College since the fall 2022 as a student employee, and now she supports staff members as the administrative assistant.
