John H. Prellwitz's dissertation, "Nietzsche's Dialogic Ethic After Illusion: Rhetoric and Difference,” was nominated for Gerald R. Miller Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation Award sponsored by the National Communication Association. His research in the areas of communication ethics and philosophy of communication as well as public relations has appeared in book chapters and articles in Review of Communication and Pennsylvania Communication Annual. He is currently working on research projects in the areas of film, genre, and propaganda. He serves as a faculty advisor to Lambda Pi Eta, faculty sponsor for the sports communication internship program, and directs Pitt-Greensburg Media.
