Heather Curtin

Coordinator for Global Learning

Heather joins the David C. Frederick Honors College with over fifteen years of university experience in both student affairs and academic affairs. At Pitt, she’s working collaboratively between the Frederick Honors College and PittGEO as a global programs coordinator to facilitate and create interdisciplinary international and domestic off-campus educational experiences.

The David C. Frederick Honors College is a champion of global education because, when you have a global perspective, your ideas can make a global impact. Heather’s goal is to offer every student the chance to learn abroad, whether it's on a summer trip or a long-term, immersive study.

Heather earned her MA in international education management from the School for International Training (SIT) in Brattleboro, Vermont. She also double majored in English and Spanish to earn her BA from Denison University, studying abroad in both Bath, England and Valencia, Spain. Outside of the office, Heather loves spending time with her family and friends and making plans for new adventures!
