Prior to coming to Pitt, Abby taught students of all ages, with a focus on K-12 and college-level math, science, and environmental education. She has held additional positions with education technology, legal, and accounting organizations. As an undergraduate, Abby conducted research & prepared lab supplies in a bacteriophage lab and tutored students at a local high school. She is also an alum of Pitt’s Summer Language Institute.

Abby grew up in the Pittsburgh area and returned after working and studying in Illinois, California, Michigan, Greece, and Bulgaria.
