The Goldwater Scholarship is the premier merit-based undergraduate recognition for STEM students. This award recognizes second- and third-year undergraduates already active in and committed to pursuing a career in basic STEM research. Interested applicants are expected to have an interest in pursuing research-based graduate study in a STEM discipline. This year’s campus/internal deadline to be considered for institutional nomination is November 17 at noon EST.
