Terry Rowley

Marketing & Communications Partner

Terry began her role at the University of Pittsburgh in August 2022, serving as the liaison between the Office of University Communications and Marketing and the Frederick Honors College. She works closely with experts at UCM to deliver best practices in marketing and communication to Frederick Honors, particularly focusing on content creation for student newsletters and social media and developing the future of the Frederick brand. As an alumna of the University of Pittsburgh, Terry is immensely proud to work for the institution that was so formative to her own personal and professional development.

After graduating from Pitt, Terry attended the University of Rochester for her MA in English literature and stayed in the Western New York region where she taught first-year writing at Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). Before returning to Pittsburgh, Terry worked for the Dominican Friars in Chicago for seven years in a communications role, focusing largely on graphic design, social media, book publications and website development.

Outside of work, Terry enjoys “granny crafts,” like knitting and sewing, reading, biking and spending time with her wonderful rescue Kerry Blue Terrier, Brendan. She’s a self-proclaimed capybara enthusiast who loves Star Wars more than she cares to admit.
