Shay Roth

Forbes-Craig House Fellow

Shay Roth is highly dedicated Honors student at the University of Pittsburgh pursuing a Doctorate of Pharmacy with a concentration in Global Health (anticipated April 2024) and member of the Pharmacotherapy Scholars Program, a selective pre-residency program involving focused coursework, clinical rotations, and longitudinal research. Shay recently graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences with a Minor in Chemistry from the University of Pittsburgh in April 2022.

Shay serves as the House Fellow for the Upper-division Living and Learning Community in Forbes-Craig Apartments. She has worked with honors housing since her second year, starting in Sutherland Hall as a Resident Assistant, and continuing that role until assuming her position as House Fellow.

Shay is highly involved in the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy, serving as Class Representative for the Class of 2024, and holding multiple leadership positions in various clubs and organizations, representing the University of Pittsburgh at the state and national level. Shay also pursues research here at the University with various professors and pharmacists, and recently co-authored, illustrated, and published two pharmacy children’s books, All Aboard the Rx-Express! and Diabetes, Pharmacy, and Me! Understanding Childhood Diabetes.
